The beauty is in the hours of labor and skill it requires to make this.. Anyone can put a block of wood in a machine and hit a button.. assembly line instruments have taken over. I’m looking at buying a 20k mandolin. It may not sound better than a far cheaper instrument but I’m willing to pay the price for the traditional hard labor. When you hold it, you are proud and know someone’s heart was in it and loved building it as much as you Love playing it

I wish I could travel back in time to witness stradivarius make his violin and watch the patience determination and the skills that he had and see the way he built his incredible beautiful and amazing quality of his violin but this man skills show a bit of how they made violin and can you imagine how much skills you needed to have to make a grand piano in the 1800s and all other music instruments I wish I could see all music instruments being built in those times
